Christopher J. Hussin

Chris Hussin is a member of the Patent, Trademark and Copyright Law Group focusing on all areas of trademark, copyright and patent law. Chris has managed the trademark and copyright portfolios of a number of international companies and guided clients in brand development and management, the selection and clearance of trademarks and the registration and enforcement of trademarks and copyrights in the United States and abroad. He is also experienced in drafting licenses, assignments, and other intellectual property-related contracts and business documents. Chris successfully represented clients in domain name arbitration disputes, proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and infringement litigation matters. He has also drafted and prosecuted a number of patent applications.

Chris received his law degree from the University of Denver College of Law and his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. He is admitted to the state bars of Wisconsin and Colorado and admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Western District of Wisconsin and the District of Colorado. He is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Chris is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the American Bar Association (Intellectual Property, Antitrust and Litigation Sections), the Wisconsin Bar Association, the Dane County Bar Association, the Wisconsin Intellectual Property Law Association and the Wisconsin Innovation Network (WIN).
