Josh C. Kopp

Josh C. Kopp a partner with the firm, graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science in 1998. Josh graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2002. 

Josh is a member of the Wisconsin and Dane County Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts.

Josh’s practice focuses on representing individuals and businesses in transactional and litigation matters, including estate planning, real estate, and business matters, debtors' and creditors' rights, and landlord/tenant law.   

Josh has been named to the 2006 and 2008 editions of Wisconsin Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the General Litigation, Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights, and Real Estate fields by Law & Politics and Milwaukee Magazine.  He was also recently named one of Madison’s top lawyers in the Landlord/Tenant field by Madison Magazine.

Josh has been a presenter at numerous seminars on Landlord/Tenant law, most recently presenting at Managing Residential Property: Avoiding Tenant Disputes and Evictions in April 2006 for the National Business Institute.  In addition, he has authored publications on various legal topics, including, most recently, an article in the September, 2008, edition of Business Watch entitled How to Increase Collection of Overdue Accounts Receivable.   Josh also co-authored a chapter on the relationship between manufacturers and distributors in Business Organizations, a treatise published by the Wisconsin State Bar.
